Today we went outside and played some individual and partner games. Here are some photos of us playing leap from, bicycle turns and tunnels. 

Production Songs

Our production is fast approaching (next week) and we are busy practicing for this. Here are the songs so that you can practice them at home as well. Room 2's song is Munch, munch, munch.

Music

We have been learning about beats and today we learnt about notes in a special way that I call 'Sandwich beats'. 

We got into groups and each had a turn at creating a beat using the sandwich cards that our group members could follow.

Week 4 Digraphs

Our digraphs this week were ur, oy, ie, igh. 

Music

This term in music we are learning about keeping a beat, making a simple beat pattern and reading some music notes. Here we are in groups making up beat patterns using body percussion - claps, clicks, stomping etc.

Now the sun is starting to come out more we will be spending a lot more time outside. We decided one afternoon that we had worked super hard and had a 10 minute reward of playing on the playground.
