Dot art trees

We created these art panels last term but I hadn't got them up in the classroom till the first week back as I was putting them together over the holidays. We used the art technique of dotting with cotton buds to create small dots to make 3 different trees. I am in love with these pictures and they look amazing hanging up in the classroom. 

Fireman Visit

Today the firefighters came to school to visit us. They set up an obstacle course for the children to go through. They put on a hat and coat and then had to carry a hose, pull a heavy weight and the best part have a go at using the water hose to put out a pretend fire!!
