Popcorn

After a long busy Easter weekend we got back into our learning with a bit of fun. Today we tasted popcorn and wrote about it using our senses. Then we looked at how popcorn pops, where popcorn comes from and watched the corn kernels pop in a popcorn maker.

Bubbles

A few weeks ago I set up some bubble mixture and got out the bubble blowers. Some children found this quite difficult as they had only used bubble wands and bubble machines before but after some practicing they were fantastic bubble blowers. After blowing some bubbles we went inside and wrote about our experience. Children published their stories and these are hanging up in the classroom so feel free to come and read their stories.
